Lily and Piotr had a week full of wedding events; they were set to have a Chinese Tea ceremony as well as a Polish Catholic church ceremony and a reception all on different days. I was asked to be there for the Polish ceremony and when I arrived, Lily was dressed in her Chinese Tea ceremony gown and was ready to head over to the groom's house to change and get to the church ceremony.
Mom ties a red string to Lily's hair which signifies blessings and good fortune.
The "Good Luck Woman" holds a red umbrella over Lily's head, for good luck as she leaves her home with the groom to his house.
Now to change and then off to the church!
